What we collect, and what we don’t.
This site is deliberately light on data collection. No cookies, no analytics, no advertising trackers. What follows is a plain description of the little that is collected and why.

The short version
This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads no advertising or tracking scripts. The only personal information it collects is what you type into the contact form and choose to send us. We use it to reply to you. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it for anyone else’s marketing.
What the contact form collects
When you send a message we receive your name, your email address, your phone number if you provide one, and your message. We also record the IP address the message was sent from, which we use only to identify and block automated spam.
That message is delivered to our office by email through Resend, an email delivery service. It arrives in our business mailbox and is kept there as part of our normal business correspondence. Providing a phone number is optional.
The retirement calculator
The figures you enter into the calculator — your age, your intended retirement age, and an amount — never leave your browser. They are not sent to us, not stored, and not logged anywhere. The calculation runs on your own device and disappears when you close the page.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics, advertising pixels, or session-tracking scripts. You will not see a cookie banner here because there is nothing to consent to.
The one exception is on our contact page, where a map of our office is available. That map is not loaded until you press the button to show it. If you do, Google Maps loads and Google may set its own cookies at that point, under Google’s privacy policy rather than ours. If you never press it, nothing is requested from Google.
Who else is involved
Running a website necessarily involves a few service providers. They process information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes:
- Vercel — hosts this website and keeps standard server request logs.
- Resend — delivers contact-form messages to our office by email.
- Porkbun — provides the domain and its DNS.
- Google — only if you press the button to load the office map, and Google Search Console, which reports aggregate search statistics and no personal information.
How long we keep it
Messages you send us are kept in our business email as ordinary correspondence, for as long as we may need them to serve you or to meet our record-keeping obligations. The IP address used for spam filtering is discarded within minutes. If you would like your enquiry deleted, ask and we will remove it.
Your choices
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@fontanafinancialservices.com or call 412-394-8860. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under your state’s privacy law; tell us and we will honour them.
You are never required to use the contact form. You are welcome to call us instead, and nothing about browsing this site identifies you.
Children
This site is intended for adults planning their retirement. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Clients of the firm
This policy covers this website only. If you become a client, the information we collect and how we handle it is governed by the separate privacy notice you receive as part of your account paperwork, which reflects the requirements that apply to financial advisory relationships.
Changes, and how to reach us
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Questions about any of it can go to info@fontanafinancialservices.com, or by post to Fontana Financial Services, LLC, 201 Penn Center Boulevard, Suite 400, Pittsburgh, PA 15235.
Looking for our regulatory disclosures? They appear at the foot of every page, including this one. You can also get in touch with any question about them.
